It's always centered white men whose involvement in family life was optional, whose egos needed extinguishing for contrast.
Twenty years ago, Liz Gilbert suggested that the hero's journey applied to women too. At the time, that was already revolutionary. But now, we’ve been sold the idea that awakening requires a passport and a divorce.

Why I'm here... Why I stayed.
I’m a warrior spirit.
Born months premature with a non-working digestive system, I spent my earliest years in and out of emergency surgeries at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Being here—and staying here—was never guaranteed.
I believe my connection to the other side is rooted in those early days.
I remember lying in my crib, staring at the tall corner of the room, wondering why I was “down here” instead of “up there”—on the ceiling, looking down.
This life has always been hard, not because I’m broken, but because the experience of being here never matched what I knew to be true.
Now, I understand the lesson.
And I'm here to help you shortcut the awakening—to jumpstart your soul-level life without needing a near-death experience to remember it.
People who survive death often return changed:
More free. More courageous.
More willing to live by their soul’s blueprint instead of external expectations.
But you don’t have to almost die to wake up.
That level of awareness—the courage, the wonder, the joy—is only a thought away.
A choice.
A shift in radio frequency.
It’s not reserved for the chosen few.
It’s available to everybody.
Including you.
Looking back, we can trace the breadcrumbs
Quiet. Always watching. Always listening.
Always understanding what was underneath the words.
Always being confused when what was felt didn't match what was said.
And confused when I mirrored back the truth and it made grown ups pull back.
But my dog Mac was always there. He always understood. And I always understood him. And when he died, he left a door wide open for me to walk through, but that wasn't until after college. Let's rewind:
I graduated from Immaculate Heart High School here in Hollywood, where I learned to meditate, think critically, speak truth to power, and integrate activism and action with spirituality.
I went to USC and majored in Theatre, where I learned about sense memory, putting myself in another person's shoes, and command the room on stage. Those are all skills I use in my readings and classes now.
One photography class for elective credits turned into an entire career. My child actor then-boyfriend came with me and became a photographer. We got married and became a photo team, with me doing art direction, styling and on-camera coaching. It took us all across the country, shooting magazine covers and editorial spreads.
In 2012, a few close family members passed away, and I began feeling them, and they lead me to the right books, resources, and mentors that helped me develop my psychic mediumship.
2015, becoming a mom was the next level of spiritual awakening, and I found myself having to bring theory into practice with the highest stakes of keeping a baby (and myself) alive, through PPD and PPA.
In 2017, the door blasted open again, pushing me out of the spiritual closet, and far beyond my comfort zone when I was led to offer readings.
In 2019 I taught the first round of Lighthouse and got certified as a Level 3 psychic medium at the Lisa Williams Psychic Medium Training Academy (formerly known as the Lisa Williams International School of Spiritual Development).
2020 was the next level of awakening, with a preschooler and a newborn in lockdown. I spent the next few years in service at home, fully deconstructing and letting go of all egoic attachment to money and career and being a channel, while navigating a move and PPD again.
2022 I was invited to do group readings and teach for an international community, and was catapulted back to work for the next couple years.
2024 I started my podcast, Soul Level Human, and continued my own readings and community, The Coalition.
And now in 2025, the world needs our light more than ever.
